Product Performance of Polyoxyethylene Monolauric Ester:

This ester has many hydrophilic groupings. It is miscible with ethanol, water, and ethyl-acetate. However, it is not miscible with liquid paraffins or non-volatile petroleum. One part is soluble with 130 parts cottonseed oils and 200 parts toluene. The pH of the aqueous solution is between 5 and 7. It is soluble with corn oil, dioxane (carbon tetrachloride), fibrin, methanol and ethanol.
