What material is Silicon dioxide

What's Silicon dioxide? You can find the silicon dioxide crystal. The silicon atom can be located in the center of the regular trihedron. Four oxygen atoms, on the other hand, are found at four of its vertices. The oxygen atoms located at the vertices connect many of these tetrahedrons. Each oxygen atom has two silicon atoms.
SiO2 represents silicon dioxide in its simplest form. But SiO2 cannot be described as a simple molecular structure. Instead, it is simply the ratio between the number of silicon-oxygen atoms within the silicon dioxide crystal. A pure, natural silica is an insoluble, hard, transparent, non-colorless and colorless solid that's often used for optical instrument manufacturing.

Silicon dioxide production method
Preparation of amorphous Silica involves five steps: preparation of silica gel; granulation and sintering processes; cleaning and drying.
1. Making silica gel
It is necessary to have all the materials prepared.
2: The Granulation Process
Once the silica gel has dried, it's pressed into dry powder. This powder can then be classified and sorted to get a silica particle with the required average size.
3: The Sintering process
Sintered silicon dioxide powder from the granulation is at 800degC-1450degC. Thermal plasma is then used for argon injection at a preset flow rate. Plasma is generated at a preset high-frequency output power. At a preset supply rate, place the silicon dioxide powder in the plasma torch. Then heat it and allow it to melt at temperatures between 2000 C and the boiling point.
Step 4: The Cleaning Process
The fine powder that remains on the surface of the silica powder spheroidized after this process [3] should be removed.
5: The drying process
Following the above cleaning procedure, allow the silica to dry.
Crystalline silica preparation method
You will need to mix the silica dioxide, water, structure-directing, alkali or acid into the mixture. After it has finished, you can cool the reactor quickly and then wash it with water.

Silicon dioxide Applications
Silica is used in the manufacture of glass.
The silicon dioxide crystallizes after it has been silica gelated and dried. It then becomes a crystal.
Silica can be used to lubricate and promote flow. It is primarily used as a flow agent, antisticking agent, lubricant, and flow enhancer. This is a good choice for the granulation oil and extracts. It has excellent fluidity and compressibility. This can be used in direct compression as well. This disintegrant can improve the fluidity and bulk density of granules as well as the tablet's hardness. It also reduces the time it takes to disintegrate the drugs.

Silicon dioxide price
Particle size, purity and cost will all affect product prices. Purchase volume also has an effect on particle size. Large quantities of small amounts will result in a lower price. Our company website provides information about the cost of each particle size.
