What does calcium hydride mean? Calcium Hydride is a chemical compound. The laboratory uses CA, H2 and heat to create CAH2. CAH2 can be described as a compound of an ion. Method of storage for calcium hydride
You should store your items in a well-ventilated, cool warehouse. Temperature of warehouse must not exceed 32F and relative humidity not exceeding 75%. You must seal the package and keep it dry. The package should be kept separate from acids, oxidants, alcohols and halogens. It shouldn't be mixed. Use explosion-proof lighting, and ventilation systems. Use of mechanical equipment or tools which are easily to spark is not permitted. You must ensure that the area is adequately protected from leakage.
