the songs are solid. if you really like nate dogg, you can also get his "g funk classics vols. 1 and 2" as well. based on this cd production alone however the dedication nate dogg has to his music and the time he spends crafting the beats (or his friends spend crafting the beats) is clear. this is perhaps better than the other cd offered in the g funk classics collection, the prodigal son. the cd is overall very well made, go and get it if you want to sample nate dogg’s solo style.
