Ms
Jade
Album : Girl Interrupted
Release Date : November 5, 2002
Label : Interscope Records
Review :
The only thing this girl has interupted, is the half hearted, not so talented
line of female emcees in the game. Ms.Jade wears the crown, even if it did not
reflect in album sales, shes got more to say and better ways of saying it."Different"
is my theme song and favorite cut..the electic guitar and Timmys base beat is
crazy.Timbaland makes bigger beats, its that easy. Add Ms.Jades finesse over
the beats and youve got a scorching album !"Really Don’t Want My Love"
featuring Missy is sick, the signiture beat, missy’s chorus and verse at the
end, but mostly Jades vengence to her flow, her versus are sick and like oral
acrobatics..
You can tell she relates to the situation."Why You Tell Me That ?"with Lil Mo’ is hard core, Both girls are venting on the track and Jades play on words shines once again..Big Man in the streets ? huh, yeah, okay..I also have a soft spot for "Get Away" just the chours sung by Neesh(who ?)is both pitchy and hard to listen to, Jades versus are sick and with a perspective we dont see enough of. Ms. Jade and Timbaland put out the best album by a female emcee ever, and she did it without being nasty, trashy, raunchy or ever losing her sophistication..
