After numerous delays and high expectations, G-Unit’s Young Buck enters the charts this week at #3 selling 140 000 copies of his new album "Buck the world" in its first week according to Nielsen’s SoundScan. His previous album also entered at #3 on the Billboard Charts.
MIMS also makes a strong debut fueled by the sucess of his single "This is why I’m hot" and comes at #4 on the charts while scanning 77 600 copies of his album "Music is my Savior".
Young Buck’s album was highly expected as his G-Unit partner Lloyd Banks did not sold as many units as expected. 50 Cent label is also on high media coverage with the recent Tony Yayo alleged slapping of the son of Jimmy Rosemond (The Game’s manager) in NY.
In the news and following Young Buck’s recent attempt to set a peace treaty with former G-Unit artist and rival The Game, 50 Cent recently had some harsh words for his artist in the Angie Martinez show: "I hold him in the same space that I held Game in...now since then, Game has released a record and dissed him again. That right there just shows you."
Stay tuned for more news.
