review:
BRAND-NEW FULLY SANCTIONED NEW MATERIAL FROM THE ENTIRE WU-TANG CLAN. NO OUTTAKES.
NO BOOTLEG MATERIAL. NO B-SIDES. NO LEFT-OVERS.
The Wu-Tang is the most influential and longest running group in hip-hop. RZA’s vision has helped shape an entire generation of music. The group’s major return-to-form on CHAMBER MUSIC is the Wu album hardcore fans have always hoped for. The album’s sound is inspired by classic soul (and kung fu imagery) and is a radical departure from group’s recent 8 DIAGRAMS project.
CHAMBER MUSIC’s throw-back sound features a combination of live instrumentation and new RZA beats shaped in a classic old-school soul type of vibe, reminiscent of the group’s classic 36 CHAMBERS sound but with a completely updated, modern twist. The album includes newly recorded verses from every key member of the group, plus affiliates Cappadonna, Killah Priest, Street Life and more.
