TI is the biggest winner from the BET Hip Hop Awards this year with the Best Hip Hop Video and an award for Hip Hop MVP of 2006.
Jay-Z also wins big this year with the Hip Hop Hustler Award and get ready for Kingdom Come while Grandmaster Flash was honoured with the Hip Hop Icon Award.

The winners were okay. It was good that BET finally has an award show with all hip hop artists because hip hop is taking over. Hip hop is mixed with alot of things. By next years event I hope they have more female hip hop categories included. We realize hip hop is not made up of only male artist.Another thing they need more audience participation because hip hop elite are not excited for each other, it was alot of empty seats in the venue and the fox theater is not all that big. We will give BET a break because it’s the first year. But how can their be no female hip hop categories
