Katrina Taylor whose stage name is Trina is a Rap & Hip-Hop artist who was
born on December 3, 1978, in Miami, Florida. Trina burst out back in 1998 when
she made a guest appearance on Trick Daddy’s album www.thug.com. Trina on the
cover of her album Da Baddest BitchIt wasn’t until March of 2000 that Trina
released her debut album entitled Da Baddest Bitch. The album had hits in the
Rap & Hip-Hop scene with the two singles "Da Baddest Bitch" and
"Pull Over."
In the next year Trina started being featured on other
rappers tracks such as Missy Elloitt. Trina released the single "Told Y’all"
featuring Rick Ross in early of 2002 as part of the All About The Benjamins
Soundtrack. Later that summer Trina put out the first single "No Panties"
featuring Tweet of her new album "Diamond Princess".
Trina then released her sophomore album, which had another small hit "B R Right" featuring Ludacris. Since then Trina has made appearances on other artists’ tracks, including the remix of Chingy’s smash "Right Thurr". In the spring of 2004 Trina made some shock waves when the song "I’m Leaving You (formerly, Big Ol’ D*ck). In the song Trina raps about her sexual escapades with other rappers including Ludacris, Nelly, and Trick Daddy. In the summer of 2005 she appeared on Webbie’s "Bad Bitch (Remix)" single and appeared in the video. Her new album "The Glamorest Life" is due in stores October 4, 2005.
