Trina is considering adopting an orphaned child from Haiti - after the country’s devastating earthquake on January 12th made her realize how "blessed" she is.

The Here We Go hit-maker, real name Katrina Taylor, is desperate to make a difference after the poverty-stricken nation was rocked by a massive tremor earlier this month. And she’s decided she doesn’t just want to make a donation to Haiti - she wants to take in a child whose guardians perished in the disaster.

She tells AllHipHop.com, "I would like to contribute on a higher level for more personal reasons - in addition to being ready to raise/nurture a child - by being involved on a day-to-day basis. The tragic and untimely list of events that have happened in Haiti even before the recent earthquake have made me realize how blessed I am as an individual and I want to share that with a child that is a victim in this disturbing time."
