Three 6 Mafia Loses Member
Academy Award winners Three 6 Mafia have lost a member of their group. Allhiphop.com reports that member Crunchy Black, whose real name is Darnell Carlton, has left the group for unspecified reasons. Sony Music confirmed that Black’s exit was voluntary and that he wasn’t forced out of the group. Remaining members Juicy J and DJ Paul maintain that they haven’t spoken to Black in several months.
Crunchy Black is the latest member to exit the group. Over the years, Koopsta Knicca and Gangsta Boo have also exited the Three 6 Mafia fold. Another group member, Lord Infamous, is currently incarcerated.
In related news, Crunchy Black is working on a new album tentatively titled From Me to You, 1 The Hard Way.
