The Game checks into Jail
As we reported last month, Rapper The Game has decided not to pursue the trial related to felony gun charges filed against him and purge his 60 days jail sentence.
He turned himself in late Sunday night, accompanied by his uber-lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and friends wearing "Free The Game" t-shirts.
TMZ reports that The Game will be a "keep away" while inside, meaning that he’ll be segregated from the general population while in the joint.
The Game new album entitled LAX is due out in 2008 and might be dropping around June. The West Coast star might just use his jail sentence to step his songwriting game up for what is supposed to be his final album.
