The Game
Album: The Documentary
Release Date: Jan 18, 2005
Label: Aftermath
The Game aka Chuck Taylor of G Unit is the most highly anticipated artist for this beginning of 2005. The Game’s The documentary is an intensely solid debut with great production and above average lyrics. The production from Dr.Dre ranks among some of the best he’s ever done especially on tracks like "higher" and "start from scratch" which happen to be 2 of my favorite tracks on the album.
Besides Dr.Dre there is also production by Kanye West, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Just Blaze(2 Tracks),Eminem whose "We ain’t" is bumpin and Em also drops a hot verse,Timbaland and more.Game actually has a tribute to his son on the touching "Like Father Like Son" in which Busta Rhymes has a great Hook. The 2 Just Blaze Joints are also bumping.50 cent actually drops a classic verse on the classic "Hate it or Love it" Overall this cd will have your stereo bumping for a long time.
