Born and raised in the 978 (Lawrence & Haverhill, Massachusetts) 25 miles
north of Boston, Termanology, now all of 23-years young, has been consumed with
Hiphop and perfecting its craft since the age of 15.
Termanology is currently enjoying worldwide acclaim after the release of Watch How It Go Down, a street banger produced by the legendary DJ Premier. The video for Watch How It Go Down includes cameos from a who’s who list of Hiphop’s elite ; Premo, M.O.P., AZ, Styles P, Alchemist, Remy Ma and the video has chalked up over 20,000 views on Youtube.com. The Watch How It Go Down Remix features legendary Lil Fame of M.O.P. & mixtape mainstay Papoose and in its first few days of release has been spun by such DJ’s as Clue, Kay Slay, Marley Marl and Absolut.
On 11-7-06 Term’s new Street Album, Hood Politics IV, hits stores worldwide via a joint venture between Term’s own ST. Records & Brick Records with Distribution from Traffic Entertainment. Hood Politics IV features production by DJ Premier, Roc Raida, MoSS, J. Cardim, Mr. Attic, DC & Statik Selektah and appearances by Papoose, Lil Fame of M.O.P., Blues legend Mighty Sam McClain, Trife Da God, Royce Da 5’9, Prospect of Terror Squad, Big Shug, Dre Robinson, and Term’s crew ST.
Proving that he’s primed to break out, Termanology is featured in the highly influential XXL’s Show And Prove (September 2006, page 92), the October 2005 issue of The Source’s Unsigned Hype column ; a column that has gained notoriety for highlighting the best up-and-coming artists (term is also featured on The Source’s latest Musical endeavor Fat Tape) and has been featured in ALL of New England’s major newspapers (Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, Boston Herald, etc...). In 2006 Term has graced the pages of many magazines including The Source, XXL, The Fader, URB, Elemental, Scratch, Ozone and Pound. He was a guest emcee on BET’s 106 & Park Freestyle Fridays, and acted on an episode of MTV’s "The Shop". Further, Term has moved over 20,000 units of his popular Hood Politics series and his Indy project, Out The Gate, with producer DC (released on 1-31-06) debuted at #1 on the Indy & Hip-Hop charts at Newbury Comics. Term is also one of the biggest unsigned artists on myspace.com (60,000 + views).
