Suge Knight May Be Named In BIG Lawsuit
A federal judge has ruled that record executive Marion "Suge" Knight and several other possible defendants may be added to the wrongful-death lawsuit filed by the family of the late Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace.
In a ruling made on Friday (November 16) by U.S. District Court Judge Florence-Marie Cooper it was decided that the lawsuit could be amended thanks to newly discovered evidence.
On top of Knight it is being reported that former Los Angeles police officer Rafael Perez and several other LAPD officers could be added as defendants in the suit.
Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed on March 9, 1997 following a music industry party at Los Angeles’ Petersen Automotive Museum. Wallace’s family are seeking damages from the city of Los Angeles accusing the LAPD, Perez’ former partner David Mack in particular, of being responsible for the murder. Mack and Perez have long been rumoured to have been behind the murder with some theories suggesting they working for Suge Knight.
Friday’s ruling comes after new evidence has revealed that Perez was on duty the night of B.I.G.’s murder and may well have been at the scene.
Suge
Knight,
Mack and Perez have continually denied any involvement in the murder.
