Album : Gangster
& A Gentleman
Release Date : July 9, 2002
Label : Interscope Records
Customer review :
Styles, a.k.a. SP, a.k.a. the Ghost delivers what the album title says, Some
Gangster $hi+ and some more gentlemen like songs as well. You get plenty of
hardcore songs but he has them more mellow relaxed gentlemently songs as well.
There is 2 classics, 3 near classics, 2 ok songs and the rest are all good or
great songs. Probably one of my favorite albums from 2002 (with Cormega’s "True
Meaning", Spice 1’s "Spiceberg Slim", and The Relativez "The
Takoever").
The only problem with it is the bunch of skits at the end of
the album so you get song, skit, song, skit, etc.
Beats are done by alot of
people, Swizz Beatz and P Killer Tracks each do 3 songs, Mr. Devine and DJ Shok
each do 2, and Alchemist, Rockwilder, DJ Twinz, Clue & Duro, Tank 1, Tuneheadz,
St. Denison all do 1 song.
Guests are mostly limited to D-Block members and
a few others do some hooks. A must have album for hardcore gangsta rap fans.
