Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre join forces

Snoop and Dr Dre were once an inseperable musical pair. After a five year collaborative absence, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are teaming up for two tracks on Snoop’s upcoming album "The Blue Carpet Treatment" which is being released on November 21 via Doggystyle/Geffen records.

One particular track, titled "Imagine," has Snoop and Dre rapping about hypothetical situations like life without hip-hop - "Imagine Russell still struggling / No Def Jam" and what if Tupac Shakur never died.

Collaborators for the project include Timbaland, The Neptunes and more. R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, The Game, Nate Dogg and Ice Cube are also scheduled to appear.

The album is the follow-up to 2004’s "R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta) : The Masterpiece" which entered the Billboard 200 charts at No. 6 and has sold around 1.7 million copies in the United States to date.
