Snoop Dogg has offered some more information on Dr. Dre’s much-anticipated Detox album.

In an interview with NME, the Doggfather revealed that the LP would be on sale in the not-too-distant future.

“Yeah, we’ve been working on it,” he confirmed. “It’s almost finished. So that’s coming out soon!”

Snoop affirmed that he had never said the album was near being finished before, but that this time, it signified that Detox would be available soon. He also said that former Dre protege and rap superstar Eminem would be featured on the album, although he did not elaborate on the extent of Slim’s involvement.

“I ain’t never said it was almost finished,” the Doggfather said. “[Dre] might, but that’s my first time I ever said it. I was always saying it was taking too long to get done. It feels good now. We got Slim [Eminem] on it.”
