Snoop Dogg And 50 Cent To Headline Wrestlemania

Snoop Dogg is set to step into the wrestling ring with two scantily clad female fighters at this year’s WWE WrestleMania spectacular. Snoop has been signed up as a ring announcer for a BunnyMania match between two Playboy bunnies at the event in Orlando, Florida this month.

Musician John Legend is also on the bill, booked to sing America the Beautiful, to kick off the bash. Wrestling action includes a match up between champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and giant grappler Big Show. Organizers of this year’s WWE Wrestlemania XXIV event, which is being billed as "The Best vs. The Biggest," have secured help from various Hip-Hop stars to give the event a more urban appeal.

Aside appearances from Snoop Dogg and John Legend it has been revealed that 50 Cent will be escorting boxing champion Floyd Mayweather to the ring for his fight against WWE star Paul "Big Show" Wight.

The news was announced as 50 Cent hosted New York radio station Power 105.1 last Friday with the help of several friends. During the show Mayweather asked 50 Cent for a special favour.

"I’d like for you to bring me out [at ’Wrestlemania’]," Mayweather said. To which 50 replied "I’m coming. I’m coming."

"We got a friendship," Mayweather told MTV recently. "We talk about business a little bit. We talked about it when Coca-Cola bought VitaminWater. He said, ’You didn’t see what I just did?’ [I said,] ’Of course I did. Congratulations. Now you have to take me out to eat.’"

It is rumoured that Mayweather is being paid $20 million for his part in Wrestlemania XXIV, which takes place on March 30 in Orlando, Florida.

The event will also feature an opening performance of "America The Beautiful" by John Legend and Snoop Dogg taking the role of master of ceremonies for an all-female match featuring the WWE Divas entitled "Bunnymania Lumberjack Match."
