Review:
In May, Counterflow Distribution Group will release the much hyped buzz album,
“The Voice of the Ghetto” by J Records recording artist Smitty.
“The Voice of the Ghetto” exhibits the Miami rapper/songwriter in
his element and includes a variety of tracks with appearances by Kayne West,
Jazze Pha, Akon, 9th Wonder, Hi-Tek, Scram Jones, Buckwild, Streetrunner and
more. Many recall Smitty as the genius behind last year’s smash club hit,
“Diamonds on My Neck.” He also wrote/co-wrote Nelly and P. Diddy’s
hit “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” B2K’s “Bump, Bump, Bump,”
and three tracks on the Bad Boys II soundtrack.

This 13 track buzz album, “The Voice of the Ghetto” comes out on May 16th before his highly anticipated debut, “Life of a Troubled Child” and is expected hit stores later on this year.

Smitty, rapper/song writer has penned an assortment of songs for Sean "Diddy" combs, Dr. Dre and more. Now Smitty is prepping up for his own debut album after the success of his single, "Diamonds on My Neck" on J Records. Before the album is released he wants both the streets and suburbia to know just how versatile of an artist he can be with his buzz album, "The Voice of the Ghetto", distributed by Counterflow Distribution and featuring production by AKON, 9th Wonder and Kanye West to name a few. Kanye West, Scarface and John Legend are also featured on this buzz album.
