Slum Village are free agents

Detroit’s group Slum Village are now free agents since their contract with Capitol records has expired.
The group has decided to go independent and release their upcoming material on their label, Barak Entertainment.

First release will be a mixtape titled Prequel to a Classic due July 12(guests include Kurupt, the Dramatics and Dwele). Their self-titled album is due September 13.
