In an era where artists are trying to “recreate” or “revive” hip hop, Seel Fresh effortlessly delivers the culture’s true essence by offering timeless material based upon his life experience of paying dues. Coming straight from Chicago’s southwest side, Seel Fresh is a certified True School Scholar. He initially earned his hip hop stripes becoming known throughout Chicago as a prominent all city fixture in the city’s competitive graffiti scene. Although his main focus was getting his name up on spots around town, Seel was simultaneously making a name for himself as an mc catching wreck within Chicago’s hip hop community and loft party scene.

After numerous shows, battles, a series of 4 underground cds and a handful of vinyl records, Seel Fresh released his first official full-length album titled “Trife Life” in 2006. The project features appearances by Thirstin Howl III, Rack-Lo, Juice, and Rise (of the Demigodz) as well as production of Dug Infinite, The Molemen, and Copperpot.

In support of the "Trife Life” project, Seel Fresh took part in the “Def Jam Rejects Tour,” a 28 stop tour that happened in 31 days, along with RaDix and Coolzey. His touring combined with his releases and music videos, (Nickelpimp, Drinkalot), have helped him attract attention from numerous blogs and media outlets across the globe. He has been a featured artist on the front page of www.Myspace.com and is currently listed in Urb Magazine’s Next 1000.

Seel Fresh is currently doing spot dates throughout the Midwest and West Coast further magnifying his movement, while producing high quality video content. His latest music video “Keep It Moving” can be seen on the Rapstar Inc you tube channel www.youtube.com/rapstarinc and his myspace page www.myspace.com/seelfresh. His new release, Street Famous scheduled for an October 28, 2008 release on Rapstar Records and will be available at all major digital outlets, ITunes, Amazon MP3,Emusic, etc.
