The Greatest Story Never Told is rapper Saigon’s debut album, releasing on producer Just Blaze’s record label Fort Knox Entertainment.

If it wasn’t for Dr. Dre’s chronically delayed Detox album, Saigon’s The Greatest Story Never Told would probably qualify as hip-hop’s own Chinese Democracy. Originally scheduled for a 2006 release, the album has been plagued by a bevy of delays and blown street dates.

In the intervening years, Saigon has signed and broken a lucrative contract with Atlantic Records, retired from the music and returned, released a litany of mixtapes and gotten into countless beefs with other rappers. This is saying nothing of the actual album, which those lucky enough to have heard any of it are calling one of the best hip-hop records in recent memory. While no official track list has surfaced, The Greatest Story Never Told is set to feature production from Saigon’s mentor and label boss Just Blaze.
