Should we expect Saigon & Joe Budden to record together?
After a public battle followed by several diss songs, it now appears that both rappers are signed to Amalgam Digital, a new digital label and promotion company.
Both rappers talked to each other and expressed respect for each other. Saigon will release two albums with Amalgam Digital (releasing 2 albums is the new marketing plan for rappers these days) and explains his deal: "What I AM doing with Amalgam Digital is entering a unique, never been done before business venture where they help market promote and distribute some of my many projects...First of all, Amalgam Digital is NOT a record company but a New Media outfit...They seen my creative vision, believe in my vision and we entered into a non-exclusive partnership that will bring it all to life....I am nobody’s artist".
Joe Budden called Saigon to say congratulations for his move with Amalgam Digital, the same label that he’s signed to. During an interview with Angela Yee on Shade 45 Radio here’s what he has to say about Saigon: "I wouldn’t be against [making a record together], tell you the truth that made me go listen to a lot of Joe’s stuff I never heard," Saigon admitted. "I went back and listened and I was impressed. Son can really spit, for real...My family members were countin’ me out."
