Jadakiss Arrested on Gun Charges

Jadakiss was busted during a traffic stop on Saturday for possession of a firearm along with three other people inside his car in Yonkers, New York. This is the rapper’s second arrest for weapon possession since 2004. The four men are currently sitting in jail with a court appearance set for Tuesday, at which point bail will likely be set.

Jadakiss, and those in his company, were in a parked 2006 Toyota Camry when police approached their vehicle. The arresting officers suspected something was happening. They have said they smelled marijuana, and also noticed strange behavior by the driver, who was also charged with driving under the influence

Jadakiss was also arrested in July, 2004, for marijuana and gun possession charges in North Carolina. The arrest was for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and two loaded .45-caliber pistols that were found in his vehicle. He entered a plea agreement for misdemeanor charges and had to pay a $900 fine.
