Prodigy to Perform Entire H.N.I.C. 2

On February 6 at the B.B. King Blues Club in New York, there will be a special sendoff concert for Mobb Deep’s Prodigy prior to the start of his impending prison sentence. At the show, P will perform his new album H.N.I.C. 2—which is due out in March—in its entirety. While few details are available, a short press release announcing the concert revealed that there would be a tribute to P by unnamed G-Unit and Queensbridge artists as well as special surprise guests.

Tickets are $20 and are currently available through Ticketmaster or www.bbkingblues.com. H.N.I.C 2 will be released through Voxonic Music who will utilize their proprietary software to translate the album into 1400 different languages. In October, P accepted a plea deal on a weapons possession charge and was sentenced to 3 ½ years. He was scheduled to begin his sentence earlier this month, but a judge gave him a five week extension.
