Customer Review:
There aren’t may reasons to buy this album if you are a Pete Rock completist because you probably own everything on it in one way or another. There are some rare singles and remixes, and only the track with Gang Starr and Freddie Foxxx is one I hadn’t heard (which might make it worth buying if you can’t get enough of Bumpy Knuckles). But it’s still Pete Rock. This means that the beats are far beyond anything out even now, despite the tracks mostly being from 1991-1995. A man decades ahead of his time commands respect, and this makes a good addition to a Pete Rock collection. I’d get this before any of the imported stuff ("Digging On Blue" in particular).
