P. Diddy reveals name change

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs is changing his name yet again. The rap mogul, formally known as Puff Daddy, says his old nickname was confusing, so he’s dropping the “P.” to become “Diddy” to “simplify things”.

"Nobody knew what to call me. I’d notice people were uncomfortable when I’d meet them for the first time and then they’d ask me what they should call me," the 35-year-old says. "I even started to get confused myself. When I’d called someone on the telephone it took me a long time to explain who I was."
