O.C. signs deal with Hiero Imperium
O.C., a member
of the Bronx, New York, collective D.I.T.C., which also includes Fat Joe, Showbiz,
AG, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, the late Big L, and Buckwild, will release his
new album, Smoke & Mirrors, on the indie Hiero Imperium label on November
1st.
O.C. said, "Knowing my history and work ethic, Hiero said to me, ’We don’t
have to baby-sit you, just do your thing.’ Now, how many labels do you know
of that say that to their artists ?"
The Hiero Imperium
label was founded in 1997 by the Bay Area-based Hieroglyphics crew, which includes
Souls Of Mischief, Casual, and Del The Funky Homosapien.
