| Necro Arrested In Australia |
Necro has been fined $3,000 after fracturing the cheekbone of a man who challenged him in a Perth (Australia) street.
Necro, 31, real name Ron Raphael Braunstein, and Christopher Catenacci, 32, a member of his touring party, pleaded guilty to the assault of a 27-year-old man outside a cafe.
Perth Magistrates Court was told the victim received a fractured cheekbone when he was punched several times by Necro on Thursday morning.
Defence lawyer Michael Tudori said a fight had broken out after the man had said to Necro: "What the f*** are you looking at?"
Necro had replied: "What’s your problem? I am not looking at you but I can look at who I f***ing want."
The man allegedly stood up to approach Necro and was struck several times, before Catenacci joined the fight.
Necro and Catenacci were arrested at their hotel later that day, forcing the cancellation of their show before 400 fans at Perth’s Hyde Park Hotel.
Necro was greeted by a small group of fans when he left court after being fined.
"I love my fans, I’m going to send them a personal response online," the death rapper said.
