Nate Dogg suffered Stroke over Christmas Period
Hip Hop/R&B Singer Nate Dogg suffered a stroke on Dec. 19 and was hospitalized during a 7 days period before being released the day after Christmas.
Rumors had circulated that the artist had a heart attack, but Eurweb a coordinator for Nate’s recently-formed gospel choir, Innate Praise, told MTV that he was hospitalized with symptoms of a stroke.
Nate Dogg’s voice was first heard on Dr. Dre’s 1992 classic, The Chronic, which led to the release of his hit single, "Regulate," with Warren G.
With Snoop Dogg and Warren G, Nate dogg is also known as a member of the group 213 formed when they were teenagers.
He has dropped his famous smooth voice on an incredible number of tracks and worked with the biggest stars in the game. Nate has also released four solo albums via Interscope and Elektra Records, and one Greatest Hits album.
