It is being reported that R&B crooner Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Hale, was arrested on Monday morning (June 23) in Los Angeles for making terrorist threats.

According to TMZ.com, the 38-year-old was arrested after his girlfriend phoned police while driving down the 405 freeway in Los Angeles complaining that Hale was making death threats and "dangerously" following her car.

The couple were pulled over by California Highway Patrol officers. Nate was arrested and charged with making terrorist threats and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to the L.A. County Medical Ward at Twin Towers jail in Los Angeles where he given a psychiatric evaluation before being place in general population.

He was released after posting a $50,000 bond early this morning.
