Customer Review :
Ten years ago a young Mobb Deep (Prodigy & Havoc) dropped
there debut album "Juvenile Hell" (1993). I did not come across this
album till a few years ago, like alot of people I started listening to Mobb
Deep when they dropped the classic "The Infamous" (1995). Having really
come to enjoy there music, its interesting to see where they started at. Mobb
comes out raw and hungry on "Me & My Crew", talk about being young
and black and trying to be be accepted on "Peer Pressure", and get
more hardcore on "Hold Down the Fort" & "Stomp Em Out"
feat. Big Noyd. Large Professor Remix of "Peer Presure" spices things
up a bit. "Flavour for the Non Believers" closes off album well. As
for the album its decent, as a first release from at the time two young artists
its good- there are a few tracks I did not feel much, not to mention I dont
think they needed the skits. Over the next few years Mobb Deep would progress
and develop alot more dropping some very nice albums. I would not recommend
this to people who are new to the Mobb, for those I would recommend any of there
next three albums and H.N.I.C. I would recommend this for people who are Mobb
Deep fans and would like to see where the Mobb started.
