Mobb Deep Black Cocaine

Mobb Deep (Havoc + Prodigy) album : Black Cocaine
 Release Date: 11/22/2011

Queenbridge legends Havoc and Prodigy, known as the hip-hop crew Mobb Deep, are getting ready to drop their new EP Black Cocaine but it looks like it sprung a leak. The highly anticipated EP is probably on every hacker’s cross-hairs, which is why its no surprise when you hear a new song. “Conquer” dropped a little early, but with what we hear than it’s safe Mobb Deep isn’t fucking around anymore.

The beat sounds royal…almost imperial, giving Havoc the perfect sound to bring back the gritty NYC sound that hasn’t been heard in a long time. Im not gonna say NYC is back, because it takes more than one hot song to put a whole city back on, but Mobb Deep are taking it back to when New York had the whole industry on lock.

The duo recently announced a deal with Sony’s RED to distribute projects released on their Infamous Records shingle. This marks the first time that Mobb Deep has released a new batch of tracks in five years.

Mobb Deep Black Cocaine Track Listing

1. Dead Man Shoes
  2. Black Cocaine
