These artists will perform along with announced performers : Kanye West, Timbaland, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Chris Brown, the Foo Fighters and Rihanna.

Kanye West, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse compete for the Video of the Year award, T-Pain aims for Monster Single of the Year, and Nelly Furtado is looking for a Female Artist of the Year award. Beyonce and Justin Timberlake have both seven VMA nominations for this year.

The 2007 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas Palms Casino Resort on September 9 at 9 p.m.

And Las Vegas will have a very special guest as TMZ reports that 50 Cent just signed to do a blowout concert at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino during the VMA weekend, Sept. 8-10. The concert will happen just days before 50 and Kanye’s new CDs hit the streets on Sept 11.

Fifty is teaming up with Vegas vaudevillian Jeff Beacher,who will emcee poolside on the splashy new Pontiac Garage stage.
