He’s already a Rockstar, now he wants to release a Rock Album

From playing the guitar on Lollipop to playing with Kid Rock at a recent performance, you already know that Lil Wayne was on his way to mix rap and rock music.

Now Drake who recently joined him for his tour has confirmed that "Wayne’s coming out with a new album, it’s a rock album," he said. "A complete rock album. I have a song on there."

He says that this move is similar to Kanye’s last effort : "It’s something different in just that whole 808’s and Hearbreaks, just throwing individuals off."

Drake will release his mixtape So Far Gone soon. His debut album Thank Me Later is due out for 2009.
