Rebirth, the rock-influenced new album from Lil Wayne, has had his shares of pushbacks and songs leaked on internet (and even by Amazon). Thus the album is expected to find around 150 000 fans copping the album during its first week out according to Hitsdailydouble.com.

Of course this is low compared to the 1 million copies he sold with Tha Carter 3 but this we’re talking of an album with a new sound crossing the genres of hip-hop & rock. And considering the album already leaked a long time ago this is a pretty impressive following for Weezy.

Unfortunately it is not sure that he will be able to support this album featruing members of his Young Money Crew as he’s sheduled for nearly one year jail time starting this month.
