Lil Wayne to release Tha Carter III in December

Lil Wayne killed all the recent rumors regarding the release of Tha Carter III by announcing that his album will be out a week before Christmas on December 18th 2007.

After 50 Cent recent media shots towards Weezy, some people thought that Tha Carter III would not be dropping before 2008. But at a recent Minnesota concert he announced the release date and played 1 of the 3 singles for the album called Prostitute.

The New Orleans rapper was recently voted #1 MC on MTV "Hottest MCs" beating 50 Cent or other southern star TI. And if Fifty tried to diss him, he still receives recognition from other top MCs in the game like Kanye West.

For the record Lil Wayne released Tha Carter II in december 2005. The album debuted at #2 on the charts and has since sold 2.9 million units worldwide.
