Lil Jon to launch Wine Label
Lil Jon has decided to launch his onw label of wine. "Little Jonathan Winery" will offer a variety of different wines including merlot and chardonnay, according to The Associated Press.
Jon told the AP the idea for the winery "kind of came out of nowhere. We were just going to do some private label stuff (for parties) and we did it, and people was like, `Hey, it’s pretty nice.’"
Lil Jon admitted to the AP he is no wine conosseuir.
"I’m not like an expert, so don’t ask me no questions... I just like the taste."
When discussing using his full first name as opposed to Lil Jon, Jon replied :
"The wine
is more mature : I wanted to not just have a direct connection, but make it just
a little bit more upscale than regular ’Lil Jon’... This is not no ghetto Boone’s
Farm, this is some real wine."
