Review:
I Need Mine is the anticipated 4th full-length studio album by Houston rapper Lil’ Flip. It is scheduled for release on March 27th 2007.

The album was leaked on July 14, 2006 by Sony Records, causing Flip to decide to record new songs with J. Steve from PKY for the album. The new release will have nine tracks that were on the leaked version, and some which were not on the leaked version. Lil’ Flip has signed with Asylum Records and Warner Bros. Records, and plans to release it March of 2007. The redone release will feature tracks that weren’t included in the leaked release.

Lil’ Flip also said that he will release 3 videos off of the album. "Ghetto Mindstate" is the first video for the album’s re-release. The three videos are supposed to be in order: "Ghetto Mindstate," "Fly Boy," and the third being "The Damn Show". Lil’ Flip has stated that the re-release will have 31 tracks, and that it will be released in March. Originally leaked coverThe re-release also contains a different cover than the original. The original contained Flip in a black Rocawear outfit with a bandana, standing next to a car and holding a gold cane.

Flip is recording a track and sealing a track each day. I Need Mine will hit shelves on March 27. The album features appearances from Lyfe Jennings, Big Pokey, Lil’ Keke, Nate Dogg, and Mannie Fresh, among others.

The track "3, 2, 1 Go! [Remix]" will not have a video, it’ll just be a featured track on the album. The second single is "Fly Boy," and the next will be "The Damn Show."
