Ki Toy "The Body", Johnson, as she is known, was born in Peoria, Illinois, the largest city on the Illinois River. An astute business owner of Destiny’s Child Inc., (an agency that supports individuals who are mentally challenged and disabled), along with business partner former Welter Weight Boxing champion of the world, Vernon Forrest.

After graduating from high school early, Ki enrolled at Georgia’s Clayton State College, where she majored in accounting.
