Kanye West, Common & Young Jeezy To Announce Tour
Kanye West, Common and Young Jeezy are negotiating dates for a tour which could take place as early this October and November.
"I love performing," West tells Billboard. "I love the feeling of these tracks playing, getting the opportunity to hear them really loud and see what’s connecting with people the most." Kanye says he aims to be performing shows with "60,000-seaters" within 5 years.
Sales of Kanye
West’s sophomore solo album "Late Registration" are expected to reach
as high as 900,000 for its first week sales when Sound Scan values are released
later this week thanks to his comments about President Bush during MSNBC’s recent
telethon for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in which Kanye said:
"George Bush doesn’t care about black people"
And:
"I hate the way they portray us in the media. You see a black family it
says they’re looting. You see a white family it says they are looking for food."
