With his latest album American Gangster still atop the billboard charts. It seems that Jay-Z, the former president of Def Jam Records, may already be in the studio working on a new album, and not just any album— according to his latest release on Dj Clue’s Desert Storm 8 mixtape— Jay is planning to release the Blueprint 3.

The Blueprint 3 is the eleventh studio album by American rapper Jay-Z. This will be his final album on the music label Def Jam before he begins recording under the record label Live Nation. Album co-producer Kanye West originally stated in an interview that the album will be released sometime in February 2009.
