The 99 Problems hit-maker has announced plans for an "intimate performance" in Washington, D.C. on January 19th- the day before the Democrat is sworn into office.
Jay-Z will take to the stage at the city’s 1,847-capacity Warner Theater, where he will perform with a full band. And the star has vowed to play the set, entitled ’In Concert on the Eve of Change’, for his fans - tickets will be open to the public on Friday.
The hip-hop icon
was a staunch supporter of the politician throughout his historic election,
frequently showing video images of Obama throughout his Heart of the City tour
with Mary J. Blige. And Jay-Z won’t be the only star performing in celebration
of Obama’s inauguration - Rihanna, Sting and Kanye West are all reportedly playing
