The release of Foxx’s long-awaited J Records debut, UNPREDICTABLE, demonstrates the lessons the Oscar-winner learned at the feet of one of music’s true giants. WHEN I HEARD UNPREDICTABLE I LIKE IT, BECAUSE IT WAS OLD SCHOOL "NEW BIRTH’S WILD FLOWER" A GREAT SONG, AND FOR JAMIE FOXX TO MAKE IT HIS OWN WAS UNPREDICTABLE. HE IS A VERY TALENTED YOUNG MAN AND I WISH HIM MORE ENDEAVORS IN ANY RANGE OF ENTERTAINMENT.

This ablum is the greatest thing I’ve heard since D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar. It’s production is listener friendly which allows the listner to get into the entire album without ever fast forwarding to the next song. It’s basic arrangements and silky tones and deliverly sets the moode for a night-cap. This album is a prelude to the panties and should be in every playas collection. This unique ablum will go down in history as one of the best and will be played long after it is taken off the racks. Music artist should take note. CoolCal

This CD is a winner ! There are love songs and of course, the freaky songs. This album is raw and what we’ve been waiting for. It’s a keeper.

it sounds as though the author of this review has a hugely biased opinion on jamie foxx’s new release, "unpredictable"....where is r&b music at these days ? it sounds to me like this album has some tight beats and some decent jams, but whatever happened to r&b/soul songs being well written and having original content ? there is nothing original, or "unpredictable" about this album...the one thing however that gives me hope is that jamie joxx has a unique sound when he sings in a bit of a lower baritone range, but its as though he is just trying too hard to do something romantic, that it comes across as dry lyrics shouted out unpassionately by jamie foxx...all in all i would rate this an okay album, but nothing worth spending money on.
