Jadakiss’ second album is very well done, a lot better than his hit-or-miss debut. I like the middle part of the album, namely Hot Sauce To Go, the heavy metal-inspired Shoot Outs, my favorite—By Your Side, and Welcome to D-Block with a very angry Eminem rapping on his parts. Why is his strongest song where he asks why things happen. As for the lines "Why did Bush knock down the towers" and "Why’d the Terminator win the election ?/Come on, pay attention" they are controversial, but very well stated on these politicians’ arrogances sometimes. It’s a very socially-conscious song on the lines of what KRS-1 and Public Enemy are known for, only a little explicit. It has helped Jada win more attention this year and he should be commended for making this song. Even the song with Mariah Carey is quite good, at least getting her off that slick ballad Walter Afanasieff overkill on her albums for a minute. This is a very solid hip-hop album, raw, gritty, street,outspoken, a little political and entertaining.

Since i was 15 i was hearing jadakiss and i said i love the way he sounds but never did follow him up. Now i’m 20 and i just bouth the album kiss of death and i think it’s awesome i just love the way jada raps. I’m getting all of his albums and mixtapes cuz he’s that good.
