The cover of "Gangsta Rap," Ice-T’s first studio album in seven years, shows him lying on his back in bed with a full shot of his wife’s backside and one of her legs strategically draped over his groin. Compared to the openly-pornographic films Ice T has hosted in past years, “including “Pimpin’ 101,” the cover photo is mild in comparison. But his record label Melee Recordings says most retailers don’t feel the cover is appropriate to feature on store shelves.

Ice T isn’t concerned. He told the New York Post’s Page Six : "What can I say, I have been doing these kinds of things for years. …You should see the picture when Coco’s leg is not there."

“Gangsta Rap” arrives in stores on Halloween. In the meantime, the “Law & Order : SVU” actor can be seen in VH1’s “Ice T’s Rap School,” where he teaches a bunch of eighth-graders from York Preparatory School on West 68th Street about the culture of hip hop.
