Raw Footage is the upcoming album by rapper Ice Cube currently set for a release date on August 19, 2008. It was initially set for a summer 2008 release. The first single, "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It", has been released with a music video appearing on his MySpace page on January 3, 2008.

It has also been released via the iTunes Store on February 12, 2008. Ice Cube has revealed that the album is more political than his previous release Laugh Now, Cry Later. The second single is "Do Ya Thang", Ice Cube has already shot and released the video for this song. Guests on the album are scheduled to include The Game, Young Jeezy, Butch Cassidy, Musiq Soulchild and WC.

Ice Cube is definitely an og but it seems he is trying to prove to teenagers he can be hip and current on this album.

The album opens up to a beat that would better suit t.i or rick ross. West Coast beats are a few on here, South Coast reigns the album. Ice Cube claims gangsta rap but i’ve heard better gangsta beats & lyrics on albums from the dirtball and saint dog.

What the fck is going on with mainstream West Coast !
