Hip Hop Albums Charts on August, 29
Shout out to Talib Kweli who enters the charts at #2 on Billboard 200 this week with fans copping 60 000 copies of his highly anticipated album Eardrum. Ruff Ryders legendary producer Swizz Beatz scans 45K units of his first solo album entitled One Man Band Man. Swizzy takes the #7 spot this week.
Bun B and Pimp C are half way to gold status this week with UGK’s new album Underground Kingz at #7 and totalling just over 255K units sold with an additionnal 35 000 albums finding buyers this week.
Common is still in the game this week despite moving from #10 to #15 with 30 000 copies of Finding Forever sold.
Talib Kweli may not have 50 Cent or Kanye West on his album but he has a nice and unexpected featuring with Justin Timberlake. Check it on this track called Nature.
