Hi-Tek album : "Hi-Teknology 3: Underground"

Hi-Tek has announced plans to release his next studio album, Hi-Teknology 3: Underground, on November 20th. Album details are still under wraps so collaborators and guest artists haven’t been announced.

Hi-Tek also hasn’t released details as to who will distribute the new album. After releasing the first installment through Rawkus/MCA Records, Hi-Tek released his sophomore album through indie boutique label, Babygrande Records. He said: "I was looking for a good independent to work with in order to really do what I really wanted to do with this album. I really had a bad taste with these major labels and a lot of the majors don’t really believe in producer albums."

In related news, Hi-Tek has also been scoring some film projects. He told Allhiphop.com, "I am doing the sound score of a movie. It’s the documentary based on the life of Leroy Antonio Nicky Barnes."
